I've been really into home baking lately, so I decided to make milk bread for the first time in a while.. The first picture is when I finished shaping and covered it with plastic wrap for the first proof. Just seeing it puff up nicely makes me happy. The second picture shows it beautifully panned and after the second proof! It's right before going into the oven, and it looks so shiny after brushing on the egg wash. I love how plump and rounded the top is, peeking over the edge of the pan. The last one is the finished product, fresh out of the oven! The color is a lovely golden brown, and the whole kitchen is filled with the savory aroma of bread. It's pure happiness.

Had a drink with my wife. Since it was a holiday, I drank without holding back.

It was too late, so I missed the fireworks show and only saw the night view.

Came out to the sports field to soak up some sun after a long time. Hope everyone has a healthy holiday!

It was an event called the 'World Night Market,' and I was surprised by how many people there were. In the end, I just got one skewer and left.

Ended up just going to Starbucks lol My legs hurt too much to walk Hope the dinner wait is over soon No wonder they call it Hip-jiro

Still, out of the treasure chest rewards, I didn't get the 3,000 or 5,000 EXP potions that feel the least impactful and have the worst rewards, and while it's still not great, I didn't get the 10,000 EXP potion either. I got a gem bundle instead~!

After a long time, I finally completed all the daily quests in Playo, or 'Pl-O' for short. Wow, seeing all the stamps filled in feels amazing~!

I had a healthy barley rice for lunch today. Mixing barley rice and plenty of seasoned vegetables in a large bowl with savory soybean paste made the barley grains pop and filled my mouth with deliciousness. Pairing it with rich Cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste stew) simmered in an earthenware pot added a deep, savory flavor. The thick perilla seed chicken soup was incredibly rich and nutty. The mung bean pancake, fried to a crispy, cracker-like exterior, was moist inside, and topping it with spicy soy-dipped chili peppers offered a great combination of savory and spicy flavors. Without any artificial taste, the natural flavors of the ingredients were all alive, making it a truly perfect meal down to the last bite.
