I hope you guys don't slack off on your daily dungeons

You don't want to end up like me, right? The better the character, the more resources it takes to raise them. Seriously though, why do I need to consume 70 scrolls?... For the passive skill name, change it from 'tongue' to 'whip that tears scrolls'..

[Beginner's Tutorial] I'm familiar with this place. Leave it to me!

If you have a perfect replay to clear a stage, you can utilize the Offline Auto-Challenge (aka "Omakase") feature. First, it calculates the time and win rate of this replay by running 10 battle simulations. Fewer turns mean less time spent, and a higher win rate means more rewards. In other words, you are now in a situation where you "need to achieve the highest possible win rate using the least amount of stamina and the minimum number of turns." The Offline Auto-Challenge feature consumes 20% more stamina than regular challenges and is consumed all at once when you press the battle start button. Also, consumed stamina is non-refundable even if you cancel the battle midway, so make your decision carefully. This feature does not affect the companion's EXP, mood, or affection. You can battle up to 999 times at once, and this feature can only be used for one stage at a time.

[Beginner's Tutorial] Warning: Your companions are not bullet-hell shooting machines.

In this game, each character has a 'mood' stat. You can find the character's mood icon in the picture. When you take them into battle, this mood stat gradually decreases, (it decreases even more significantly if they become incapacitated), and eventually, they'll start struggling and sweating. When the icon changes to a sweat droplet, you should let them rest instead of taking them into battle. If it changes to 2 sweat droplets, you should definitely let them rest. 2 sweat droplets mean they're in a 'can't push it any further' state. If you continue fighting in this state, their affection will decrease. Since affection is linked to a character's combat stats, it's generally better not to overexert them. There's no way to recover mood other than letting them rest. Placing characters in the 'Academy' speeds up mood recovery. Also, characters placed in the 'Academy' can become much happier than usual (2 stars), and fighting while in this state increases the EXP you gain.

This game also has daily dungeons

Well.. if you break down the types of daily dungeons, they're divided into Scrolls, Mahjong Tiles, Compass, and Reincarnation Sutras. Since these are stages for farming character development materials, you absolutely have to run them. Among these, the Reincarnation Sutras open up later, after you've finished developing your characters, so it's a relatively later concern. However, Scrolls, Mahjong Tiles, and Compasses are resources consumed by all characters, so you should stock up as much as possible. Also, the highest difficulty for daily dungeons is level 90, and the difficulty isn't that high. (Picture 1. For reference, the enemy HP is less than 50,000!) It's just that a slightly stronger enemy appears, and if you use a powerful AoE attack, you'll get wiped out. So, what should a beginner player do? First, find a character that can use a powerful AoE attack with the highest possible boost and focus on developing them. Personally, I recommend Kazami Yuuka (L1). She's a standard character, and if you develop her fully, you can unleash a full-boost AoE attack without external help. She'll definitely be useful even outside of daily dungeons. Refer to Picture 2 for her appearance.

[Beginner's Tutorial] So What Exactly is a Barrier?

Barriers are very important. Player characters start combat with 5 barriers each, while enemies have (at the operator's discretion) 0-7 barriers. How to Check Barrier Status Ally - Above the "Graze" text on the right Enemy - Next to the top-left health bar Players can instruct each character to use a barrier (up to 3 stacks), and characters who use a barrier enter a "Graze" state, guaranteeing evasion of the next attack. (However, the used barrier is consumed regardless of whether an attack was received.) (Enemies cannot Graze.) (The last barrier cannot be used.) Barriers can be destroyed through status effect attacks or weak point elemental attacks, and when all barriers are destroyed, the target enters a "Full Break" state. (See picture 5) In this state, defense drops significantly, and they become unable to act. If an ally enters this state, the match is pretty much over for you. If an enemy enters this state, just beat them up relentlessly! (Enemies starting with 0 barriers cannot be Full Broken.)

[Beginner's Tutorial] Barrier Status Ailments

Refer to the pictures for details, and the summary in the main text. In Lost Word, there are 5 types of barrier status ailments. Burn - Red, reduces Yin stats, deals minor damage per turn. Poison Mist - Green, reduces Yang stats, deals minor damage per turn. Freeze - Blue, reduces Speed, may slow down actions. Paralysis - Yellow, reduces Evasion, may cause inability to act. Darkness (Blind) - Purple, reduces Accuracy. Refer to the second picture for checking barrier status. If you get hit, it's dangerous because not only will your turn order or attack plans get messed up, but some attacks might even destroy the barrier upon hit. (But the enemies are the same, you know. Make good use of it!) Some characters can nullify or even turn status effects to their advantage, so let's build a good party. (However, even when a character appears as an enemy, their status ailment nullification abilities work the same. It's good to memorize their abilities..)

If you add me as a friend, you can bring this character as a support.

It's a limited character, but not that strong because it's low tier. I'm thinking of replacing it with a regular character that's been raised better. I'll leave instructions in the comments.

Truly Useless Information (Volume Control)

You can adjust the volume of character voices in the settings. Obviously, right? But the voice that says "Touhou LostWord" at this time is the voice of the character the player has set as their "favorite," the one they say "I like this one the most." If the player changes the voice actor of their favorite character or changes the character altogether, the voice in the settings screen will also change. Truly useless information, isn't it?

Touhou LostWord: To Play or Not to Play?

Pros -I'm an otaku (especially if you like "Touhou Project") -I like turn-based games -I want a game with no ads -My English skills are good -I want to skip the story and just fight (possible!) -I want a game I can enjoy without spending money (possible if you're not greedy) Cons -I'm looking for a game that supports Korean (The one on the platform is the "Global" version. It only supports English) -I don't like complicated things (Surprisingly, there's a lot to consider during battles) -I want a lightweight game in terms of storage -Hidden quests and time-limited quests are important (They were barely added after the author requested them... so there's no way they exist.)
