[Beginner's Tutorial] What Should You Buy at the Event Shop?
For rare event points, prioritize buying the Intangible/Spirit Form. These items can be used instead of characters during level breakthroughs, and the Intangible/Spirit Form are breakthrough materials for high-tier limited characters. I'm talking about those paper scraps in the picture. Yep, aim to collect 100 rare points. Music Discs are genuinely useless for anything other than changing the music, and they don't help with your stats at all. If you don't like the music, there's no need to buy them. After that, use any remaining points to buy Large Forms and any scrolls you need immediately. For regular event points, buy the event-exclusive portraits and dolls first, and max out on Spirit Points too. After that, depending on your needs, you can roll for raffles, buy draw tickets/Nameless Reincarnation Scrolls/Guidance Books, etc. If you plan on using sealed crystals for draws or urgently need to level up characters, exchange them for offerings.

Let's abandon common sense in Gensokyo. A game where "fact bombing = fists"...
What do you think that attack was classified as? It was "physical" attack. In Touhou Lost Word, a "physical" attack means... Like a kick. Or a headbutt. You know the vibe, right? It's an attack that uses parts of your body to hit the enemy. ...Does "fact bombing" count as a physical attack too? When this character was announced, I thought The spread shot would be throwing a stick held in hand, and the focused shot would be firing crystal bullets. (If you don't know, let's play "Touhou Hisoutensoku". Eiki's charged shot is crystal bullets!) I didn't expect a character who preaches sermons instead of engaging in bullet hell battles. Isn't there a risk of splash damage to allies? Should we consider ourselves lucky that we'll rarely have a chance to use it?

[Beginner's Tutorial?] "My Eiki Isn't Like This!"
Touhou LostWord is a peculiar game. It's a game where players can choose a character's voice. You can select the character you want from the collection, find the voice change button, press it, and listen to the character's voice directly to change it. Each character is given versions voiced by 3 different voice actors, and players can choose the voice they like best from these three to play with. Though, if they all sound the same, there's nothing you can do about it.. However, this system also has a clear drawback. It's possible that after picking your favorite voices, they all turn out to be the same voice actor.. What can you do? The number of voice actors in Japan is limited. LostWord currently has over 400 characters in the game, and to implement all of them with different voices, you'd need over 1200 voice actors. Realistically, that's impossible. So, some characters ended up being voiced by the same actor. Keep in mind that one voice actor playing multiple roles within a single game isn't unique to Touhou LostWord.

As of now, Touhou LostWord has released 470 characters based on the Japanese server.
If performance is your priority, then there's nothing more to say. But still, wouldn't you say there's at least one character here that suits your taste..?

For events, it's generally better to have more characters.
The stat boosts from affection are definitely not something to overlook... If you're not going to ignore affection, then having more characters is better. Based on not using the training hall, a character with fully recovered mood can fight for about 50 consecutive battles. Once you've finished 50 battles, you can switch characters and continue. It would be more time-efficient to pick a stage with single-wave + single-HP bar enemies and fight for 1 turn, right? However, in the early game when resources are scarce, it's best to focus on leveling up a few main characters. Clear the stages you can quickly as much as possible, and unlock other features that allow for rapid character development. Let your main characters lead the rest! If it's too difficult, you can always borrow another player's character by sacrificing a bit more of your Friendship Points.

Hyangrimdang Roulette 100 Pull Results
Personally, I wanted the Train Conductor, but it didn't show up. Gambling's always like that, right?

Is this really something to celebrate..?
The Kourindou roulette event can give you 100 pulls with 100% certainty, you know... Rinnosuke is sending congratulatory messages next to it. Whether it's actually something to celebrate... well.

Surprisingly, the protagonist's past is tightly sealed.
In the Touhou Project universe, there are beings who can delve into others' pasts. However... Satori: She's a youkai who can read minds and memories due to her species, but to read memories deep within the heart, one needs to inflict strong trauma on the other party... For some reason, the protagonist doesn't fear her much, leading to failure. (The protagonist is friends with everyone in Gensokyo, from common fairies to the goddess of hell. From the protagonist's perspective, is there any reason to fear her?) Eiki: She possesses a tool (the Mirror of Hisou) that can uncover someone's entire past due to her profession... However, for some unknown reason, the tool's abilities don't work on the protagonist, resulting in failure.

[Beginner's Tutorial] So, Who is This Effective Against?
If you examine the skills of the illustrations/characters... You'll often see descriptions like, 'This attack is effective against "Enma"' or 'Reduced damage taken from "Hell Residents"'. 'But who is "Enma"? Who is it effective against!!' This is probably the inner monologue of someone who doesn't know the Touhou Project characters well. Let me explain. In Touhou LostWord, although not visually apparent, characters have tags based on their place of residence, race, etc. An attack with 'Effective against these opponents' will always trigger a critical hit if the enemy hit has the corresponding tag. A character with the 'Reduced damage taken from these opponents' trait will display 'Guard' and take reduced damage when hit by an enemy with that tag. Fortunately, there is a way to check who has which tag. Often, when characters introduce themselves, they reveal 'I come from X and my race is Y.' So, who is "Enma"? ...I've posted it above.

How to Enjoy Lost Word
Create a character. Train them. Clear stages. Find optimized strategies. Farm resources through repetitive battles. Use those resources to create other characters. Repeat.
