[Character Tutorial] How to Use Hakurei Reimu (L1)

"The incidents in Gensokyo, I'll solve them all!" Reimu is a "defensive" character that primarily uses the Sun element. Her weaknesses are the Moon/Metal elements, and she has no resistance to Barrier status effects. When using her 1st active skill, she increases her "Focus" along with a dual buff for her allies. Simply put, she provokes enemies to attack her. However, since it only increases the "chance" that enemies will target Reimu.. You must be careful because there's still a low, but definite, chance that other characters might be targeted. Also, if enemies use area-of-effect attacks, her Focus becomes meaningless. Her 2nd active skill provides a party-wide evasion buff and increases her Spirit defense, and her 3rd active skill restores her own Barrier. Enhancements after reincarnation don't seem very meaningful, and the fact that stats increase through reincarnation itself is more significant. If you absolutely must level something up, start with Spread/Concentrated Shot. In the early game, she's a tank that can wear down enemies when paired with healing characters.. but in the late game, where it becomes a race for the first strike and high damage, she can't show her full potential.

[Character Tutorial] How to Use Konpaku Youmu (L1)

"Until the path opens, slash, slash, and slash them down!" Youmu is an "offensive" character who wields Metal/Moon attributes. Weaknesses are Sun/Fire. While most of her attacks are Metal attribute, her Last Word is unexpectedly Moon attribute, so be careful. However, wielding the Moon attribute means... If you're stuck in Chapter 1 and have plenty of dolls, she might be worth investing in. Before her 'Spiritual Rebirth', her means of recovering spiritual power are limited to spiritual art cards/other characters/spread attacks. Therefore, using spiritual art cards is recommended in the early stages. After her 'Spiritual Rebirth', it's recommended to prioritize enhancing the effects after using Active Skill 1/2 and the Spell Card "Meditation Slash". Active Skill 3 is defensive and consumes a lot of resources, so it can be postponed. Passive skills only activate when hit. While useful in the early game, you'll likely get instantly killed if hit later on, so they can be postponed. If you're going to level them up, focus on Passive 2/3 first. Looking solely at the elemental attacks of "Meditation Slash" and "Eternal Future Slash", their boost efficiency is good, making them quite useful for breaking barriers.

[Character Tutorial] How to Use Shikieiki Yamazana-dono (L1)

"Now that I'm here, you can rest easy." Eiki is an "offensive" character, primarily focusing on Fire/Spirit elements with Water/Moon as support. Be cautious of blue/purple mobs due to weaknesses in Water/Moon elements. Also, be wary of blindness/freezing/paralysis as she has no resistance to barrier status effects. You can recover your Spirit Power through active skills 1 and 3, while active skill 2 increases your damage output. Before reincarnation, Eiki is a character who lacks Spirit Power recovery. After reincarnation, prioritize enhancing her active skills. Post-reincarnation enhancement allows her to be utilized as a Spirit Attack buffer. Active skill 1 has an effect that delays your turn order, allowing you to adjust the timing to let the barrier-breaking character act first if necessary. To maximize Last Word damage: Reduce enemy Spirit Attack, apply Spirit Attack II buff, and enhance Critical/Accuracy/Spirit Attack. Don't worry about general Spirit Attack. After completing reincarnation enhancement, using Last Word after all active skills grants a 9-step Spirit Attack buff...

Sanae's fourth-wall break was already performed here before Suouen's release

In the game "Touhou Suouen," if Sanae defeats Yachie, her victory line is "Your long tail is touching my face." Looking at the actual illustration, the tail really is touching Sanae's face. It's like she broke the fourth wall... (As expected of the Unconventional Shrine Maiden!) Coming back to Lost Word, Sanae's boost lines are: 1. My... 2. Body... 3. Is burning red!!! Actually, when she says "Burning red!!!", you can confirm her body is burning red by looking at the game screen.

It's recommended to raise Earth/Moon attribute characters early in the game.

Yakumo Yukari << Chapter 1 boss and a "newbie shredder". Her weakness is Earth/Moon attribute. Yukari randomly gains one of the following 3 buffs at the start of her turn each round: - Speed/Evasion Up - Both Attack/Defense Up - Accuracy Up/Barrier +1 If you're going to break her barrier, it's best to finish it in one turn. As mentioned before, she has barrier recovery abilities. Another strategy is to bring Reimu (L1) and a healing-type character. Reimu's 0-boost spread shot is a "guaranteed hit shot (必中彈)", meaning it always hits regardless of the opponent's evasion stat, so you can stall Yukari to death. ...If you can survive until then. (Reimu isn't the only one who can fire a guaranteed hit shot with a 0-boost normal attack. However, Reimu is relatively easy to obtain..?) If you complete the quests, you'll likely get a free character named "Rasen Udongein Inaba", who is Moon attribute, so you can raise her.
