The three religions are commonly called Abrahamic religions because they believe in Abraham. Many of the figures involved overlap, even if their names are different. However, while they share the same root, their realities are entirely different. 1. Judaism They do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah (Savior). There is only one God, and Jesus is considered just an ordinary human. Therefore, Judaism only recognizes the Old Testament and does not believe in the New Testament. 2. Christianity They recognize Jesus as the Son of God and call him Christ. They view his death on the cross and resurrection as the core event for human salvation. They recognize both the Old and New Testaments. 3. Islam They view Jesus as a great prophet but do not recognize him as the Son of God. They do not accept that Jesus died on the cross. They have their own holy scripture called the Quran. They consider Muhammad to be the final prophet.
