Cheongnyeongpo & Mancheonha Skywalk
On the last day of my trip to Gangwon-do, I visited Cheongnyeongpo and Mancheonha Skywalk. First, I went to Cheongnyeongpo, and the surrounding scenery was much quieter and prettier than I expected. It felt a bit different from the start, taking a boat to get there, and once inside, the trees were so dense that it was nice to walk around slowly. There were also stories related to King Danjong, so knowing them made it more impressive than just looking at the scenery. After that, I moved to Mancheonha Skywalk, and the atmosphere changed completely. Being able to see the Danyang River and the surrounding landscape at a glance from a high place gave me a sense of openness as soon as I got up there. I especially enjoyed taking pictures and looking around from the observatory for a long time. The glass floor part was a little scary, but it was still a place worth visiting at least once. This trip was particularly memorable because I got to explore a quiet walking spot and a place with a great view on the same day. I'd love to visit again if I travel nearby in the future. ps) 1-4 are Cheongnyeongpo, 5-6 are Mancheonha Skywalk

Gumuzo (Taebaek)
This is a place called Gumuzo, which I stopped by briefly on my way to Gangwon-do. Gumuzo is a place formed by a river eroding limestone over a long period, and the way the water flows between the large rocks is truly unique. In particular, there's a rock gate that looks like it's been punched through the middle of the rock, and seeing it up close made me marvel at how nature created it. I slowly walked around, enjoying the scenery where rocks and water blend together, and it had a different atmosphere from the usual valleys I see. Apparently, this place has ancient Paleozoic strata remaining, so you can see geological traces like fossils and ripple marks. I went there thinking it was just a pretty natural landscape, but learning these stories made it even more interesting. It seems like a good place to visit if you're looking for something a bit different from the usual tourist spots in Taebaek. Seeing the massive cliffs and the waterway together in person was much more impressive than seeing it in pictures. I'd recommend it if you want to stop by for a bit of sightseeing during your Taebaek trip.

Check out the Yongseol-ri Hydrangea Festival!
I visited the Yongseol-ri Hydrangea Festival in Juksan-myeon, Anseong-si. It's on until October 18th, and it's called 'Limelight Hydrangea,' which starts off light green and gradually turns pink. When I went, they were mostly light green. You can think of it as walking around a small mountain, and it's covered in hydrangeas everywhere. The best part is that you can get in for free just by adding them on KakaoTalk, so it seems like a great place to visit during the October holidays. (353 Yongseol-ri, Juksan-myeon) After walking around, the makgeolli I had nearby was amazing!!! It's a buckwheat noodle place, and their noodle water is fantastic~

Vito Sunset Forest Glamping (Sacheon)
I visited this place last winter. It's a place that stuck in my memory because the sunset was truly beautiful, just like its name suggests. The view from the accommodation was nice, and as sunset approached, the sky turned a beautiful shade of red. It was the kind of place that made you want to sit and watch the sunset for a long time. The glamping site also had decent spaces for walks, so it was nice to stroll around the accommodation slowly. It was also good for a light walk and enjoying the scenery when the weather was nice. The facilities were more diverse than I expected, with table tennis, billiards, and board game areas, so there were things to do while relaxing in the accommodation. There was also a convenience store where you could buy basic necessities, which was convenient. And they say you can enjoy water activities in the summer, so I imagine it would have a different vibe if you visited then. I visited in winter and couldn't try the water activities, but it felt like the attractions change with the seasons. If you're looking for a glamping experience in Sacheon with a beautiful sunset, I think it's a place worth visiting at least once ㅎㅅㅎ

Just passing through somewhere in Jeju
I was just passing by without thinking and didn't realize there were so many sceneries like this. There are many places you can't see when traveling by car, but I rented a motorcycle and toured, and found so many great spots. This is my second motorcycle trip, and next time I plan to take a longer trip to do a full tour.

This is Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak in Jeju
I always paid to enter, but there was a free course, so I went for the first time and the view was even more spectacular. I highly recommend the free course. Jeju seems to have so many great places besides just the tourist attractions.

Sangjokam (Goseong, Gyeongnam)
This is Sangjokam in Goseong, Gyeongnam, which I visited in the winter of '24. It was quite chilly because it was winter, but I think it was nice because there weren't many people, so I could look around leisurely. Sangjokam was a truly magnificent place where the sea and rocky cliffs harmonized. As you walk along the coastal path, you can see unique rocks and terrains created by nature, and seeing it in person felt much grander than looking at it in photos. Also, as shown in the second picture, there was a place where stone towers were built one by one. It was fascinating to see so many stone towers piled up. We couldn't just pass by and ended up building a stone tower each while making wishes. Thinking back now, even the small actions I took while traveling have become good memories. Although we couldn't stay long because of the cold weather, it was a memorable travel destination because it had its own unique seasonal atmosphere. Has anyone been to Sangjokam? What scenery from Sangjokam do you remember the most?
