I'm a fan of Korean hip-hop. I'm really into Lee Youngji's song NOT SORRY lately, the lyrics are great. It's about hip-hop, but it surprisingly fits well when you apply it to work life. Today, I'm also NOT SORRY to the people who keep grumbling at me.

I'm the one who chose a sushi buffet instead of samgyetang. It was surprisingly delicious. There was a good variety and it was decent. But after eating it all, I felt like I lost out somehow... Still, if I ate it deliciously and enjoyed it, that's what matters. Enjoying Boknal with a buffet was a fresh experience in its own way.

(Here, 'Jjigmuk' means 'taking photos to get benefits') It looked like it was about to pour down, but not a single drop fell when I went out to exercise and take photos. I've been taking photos occasionally anyway, and the benefits are probably half the reason. Since I take them when I'm already out, it doesn't take much effort. I thought about stopping because I've photographed almost every scene I could find, but the sky keeps changing with the seasons and weather, which is why I've continued. I don't know how long this late-blooming hobby will last, but even if I quit 'PlO', I think I'll still go out to capture scenery occasionally. When it gets cooler, I'll head to the backyard mountains, Namsan, and Cheonggyecheon.

I love movies just as much as music. Do you know the term 'Hollywood Kid'? AI explained it as a generation or people who grew up watching American Hollywood movies and became deeply immersed in them. I'm one of them, and I bet world-renowned Korean directors are also Hollywood kids. I vividly remember running around Jongno and Chungmuro in the early morning to catch early bird movie screenings as a kid. They probably only gave out posters or postcards during those early shows. I have a romanticized view of New York. A feeling that Christmas and year-end holidays should be spent with a lover in New York. Cultural brainwashing is quite scary, isn't it? There's a wistful longing for places I've never been. Similarly, I've seen many people who romanticize Hong Kong because of 90s Hong Kong cinema. I don't have that, though, as I was never particularly drawn to it. Nowadays, Korean movies and dramas dominate the Netflix rankings. It's already becoming a reality. Many foreigners are developing a romanticized view of Korea. It's truly something to see in this long life.
