This game has been out for over a decade, yet it's still slow. Both logging in and moving around are sluggish. It frequently freezes up. Randomly falling into loading hell kills my motivation.

I don't even remember. It was a game that became a trend after a post on a site I frequented mentioned playing it with their child, and I started playing with users from that site. I didn't even have a smartphone back then, so I played on an iPod only where there was Wi-Fi. It's been over 15 years... Everyone who played back then has left, and I'm still playing alone. It's a game that's simply itself, with no competition or goals. Why can't I let go and keep playing? Maybe it's because there's no competition or goals.
