When equipping gear, make sure to match your skills too. For bows, it's good to use skills that benefit from fast attack speed to rack up hits. For staves, since they have high damage but slow attack speed, it's best to focus on skills with cooldowns. Swords are generally not recommended unless you don't have any other weapons of the same or higher tier.
