Time Quest 500 Gems

I mostly play casual games. When Time Quest was first introduced, it was 2,000 gems, but after playing it once or twice, it drops to 500 gems... which makes me lose the motivation to play. I want to enjoy the game and collect gems... Can't you keep it at the initial amount instead of lowering the gems? Games like Poker, which require quick finger movements and I'm not good at, give 7,000-8,000 gems... Sigh...
