Tips for Climbing Tournament Rankings
When you're in 1st place, aim for 5-7 crowns. For 2nd place, get 3 crowns. I don't remember for 3rd place. For 4th-6th place, you get 1 crown. If you're on a winning streak during the rounds, your tournament rank will climb quickly, but sometimes you'll get stuck. When that happens, don't hesitate to drop rounds😁 If you stay in rounds where you can't win, your tournament rank will stagnate. Pick a random gadget (aiming for 6th place) to keep dropping rounds. After dropping 5-6 rounds, aim to get back to 1st place to earn more crowns. Even if it takes time, repeat this process. This way, you can achieve 1st place in the tournament or reach the top ranks^^

Wow, thanks so much for the great tip! I've been so frustrated lately because my Pocket Champs tournament rank has been stuck in place. I was getting stressed out holding on to rounds I couldn't win, but it makes much more sense to intentionally drop rounds as you suggested. I never thought about picking a weird gadget and intentionally losing to aim for 1st place again. Accumulating 5-7 crowns would make a huge difference. As expected, when you hit a wall, letting go and climbing back up is the way to go. Even if it takes some time, this seems like the most straightforward method to secure a top spot or get 1st place. It's even more trustworthy coming from a Level 76 expert. I'm going to start trying to intentionally lower my round count by using strange gadgets starting today.
