My progression feels slow

Right now, I'm just collecting daily diamonds and running box runs to gather relics. It feels like it'll only get fun once I've collected some decent ones. I do think the entry barrier for new players is pretty high. To lower it, you'd need to buy the starter relic package, but I'm not a big fan of having to spend money before I even know if I'll enjoy the game.
