What's going on with Blue Archive JP's 5.5 anniversary fest?
I wanted to catch up on Blue Archive JP news after a while, so I checked YouTube and some communities... It seems like there's some controversy brewing regarding the BM or gacha system... I didn't watch the live stream, so I'm not sure what happened...? Did something go wrong with the gacha system...?

They say the gacha system is changing. They're introducing Hoyoverse's half-pity system. Simply put, besides the usual 200-pull pity, there's now a half-pity at 100 pulls, where you have a 50% chance to get the featured character (50% chance of off-banner). This sounds good, but the half-pity system resets your pity count if you pull the featured character. So, if you get the featured character at 190 pulls, you won't reach the 200-pull pity.

The most shocking thing is that the pity points are now fluid and reset if you get a pickup during a pull. From the moment the 100-pull 50% chance is broken, it's worse than the old system.
