When there are 24 hours left for a hidden quest, the AI direct inquiry pops up. Sometimes, because it's an AI, its criteria seem strange and it rejects the inquiry. In that case, wait an hour and then try inquiring by clicking the gear icon on the top right of your avatar in the top left corner. It's a bit slower there, but a person will check it.
