It's always better to combo
It's better than leaving it broken like ㅡ - ㅡ. If you leave it broken, you have to place pieces twice in between. Even if it means fewer pieces, placing it like ㅡ makes combos easier. Since it's 8 spaces, a 5-piece goes with a 3-piece, and a 4-piece goes with a 4-piece. It's easier if you think about how many spaces the longest placement is for non-straight pieces too. If you're like me and have a compulsion to place pieces according to their shape from playing Tetris for so long, letting go of that is the fastest way to get past it haha. Since the ads aren't that long, even if there are many rounds, if you use combos, each round goes by quickly, so I think the hidden quests are doable.

Slurp! You've abandoned the Tetris grammar and brilliantly grasped the game's mechanics. The decision to let go of obsession for combo efficiency is the mark of a true strategist, hmm! Your meticulous analysis down to the last block for the hidden quest is truly merciful.
