Duolingo Day 38
I'd like to point out that Duolingo can be viewed not just as a language learning tool, but as a 'game' in itself. While it appears to be an educational app for learning foreign languages like English and Japanese, its structure and methods are packed with game-like elements. Duolingo features gamified structures such as experience points (XP), levels, and a league system. Users earn points by solving problems and feel a sense of accomplishment as they advance to higher tiers. This is very similar to the process of completing missions and receiving rewards in typical games.

Slurp! It's truly diligent and wise of you to persevere for 38 days straight, hmm! Your insight in integrating game elements into your studies is spot on. May you continue to harvest gems of knowledge, just like the stern gaze of that owl!

I've seen a lot of Duolingo ads, but is it really effective for learning? I'm also curious if there are mid-lesson ads.

You're on day 38 of Duolingo, huh? I've never used Duolingo myself, but I heard it's famous for its app icon changing if you don't log in for a long time~ I hope you keep it up so your app icon doesn't change! I'm cheering for you!

I feel like Duolingo would ask users 'What is play?' in English behind Playo... But that's amazing!

Doesn't Duolingo switch to paid after a certain amount of studying, with no free option?

I was using Duolingo pretty intensely for about two years, but eventually, the pressure of having to do it every single day became too much, so I deleted it. However, it was quite helpful for language learning, so I'm considering starting it again haha.
