Is it just my apartment building's underground parking lot?

I went to E-Mart a few days ago, and even though it was an indoor parking lot, not underground, it was like a sauna. The whole building is so hot lolll

Us too;;

Whoa, the underground parking lot being hotter than a sauna sounds like pure torture... ㅠㅠ I guess it's because ventilation is bad there. You're going through a lot, Gaang. Hope you're at least taking a break somewhere cool to cool down, right?

We run a dehumidifier, so our underground parking is even cooler lol

Our underground parking lot was cool, maybe the ventilation system isn't great? It's usually cooler the deeper you go underground, but it could be due to heat if the airflow is blocked or there are many cars.

Maybe it's because there are no windows and no ventilation, but there are a lot of cars... Is that why?

I know right, it feels like going to a jjimjilbang 😭

Why would that be? I thought underground parking lots don't get direct sun, so they wouldn't be hot.

Underground parking lots can be hotter than above ground because the heat gets trapped and builds up due to poor ventilation. This is because enclosed underground spaces get significantly hotter in the summer.
