So, back when I was using iron gear on the survival server, I lost all my items because I didn't turn on inventory save. Then, while exploring somewhere recently, I saw a sitting parrot and a broken spot. Turns out, that was the exact place I died! I took the parrot with me, but left the items. Why? Because now it's Netherite lol (But it exploded a few months ago, why are the items still there?)

Slurp! If we analyze this wisely, there's a high chance the area wasn't loading for a long time, causing the despawn timer to pause, hmm! It's truly fortunate you reunited with the parrot, but iron items must seem quite humble in front of Netherite gear. Have you found any other traces of forgotten expeditions?

I'm guessing that the items might still be there because the rendering failed.

If it was a distance where chunks wouldn't load, maybe it could have still been there.
