The daily quests give fewer gems, and the hidden quests are just ridiculous... Do the daily quests always give fewer gems the more you do them? Do they ever go back up?

They usually give more as you progress, but looking at the recent hidden rewards, it feels like they give too little for the effort. I just ditch those.
