Display Cabinet

In front of a painting within a painting, depicting large flowers and birds, there's a tea set and a desk clock, as if they were placed in a display cabinet long ago. Also a vase... I think the key to the emotion this painting evokes is the gold trim. The gold paint on the rim of the teacups reminds me of those tea sets that were all the rage ages ago. The ones that couldn't be used in the microwave, and whose patterns would quickly fade if washed, so they had to be kept on display, covered in floral designs... Those tea sets my mom bought me when I got married... Today's painting is a scene of a display cabinet that brings back memories. And today will become a memory of some future day. Under the clear sky... I hope you make wonderful memories.
