A Game I Used to Play a Lot Back in the Day

Tomb of the Mask is a game I used to play a lot, so seeing it again after a long time brings back memories haha. At first, I thought it was just a simple game where you move a character up, down, left, and right to get through a maze, but as you play, the speed gradually increases, making your palms sweat. It's especially disappointing when you're collecting coins or items and moving forward, only to suddenly hit an obstacle or trap and die haha. You immediately restart thinking, "I have to go further this time," and it was surprisingly addictive to gradually increase my score. The controls are simple, but if you accidentally press the wrong direction for a moment, it's game over, which forces you to concentrate – that seems to be the charm of this game. I remember getting hooked, trying to beat my record, even though I only intended to play for a little while haha.
