Train to Chuncheon ๐ Kim Hyun Chul
A genius who will be remembered in Korean music history. A song that those who know will recognize just from the intro. He was amazing from his first album, but after agonizing between 'A Long Time Ago' and 'Neighborhood' from his first album, I chose this song as his representative track. Listening to this song makes me feel like I've been to Chuncheon. His music, based on city pop and fusion jazz, is still sophisticated today. After he became popular, he released many soft ballads, but I prefer his early music that showcases his genius. I listened to it a lot because he's my senior from high school. I was too young to meet him at school.

Are you the one who sang 'The Fall of the Moon' and 'The Blue Inside You'? I just found out that the song 'Train to Chuncheon,' which had been passed down by word of mouth, was sung by Kim Hyun-chul. I'm not that young, but 1989 was before I was even born... Ah.ha.ha.ha! ^^;; A pioneer of understated songs. This is a singer who perfectly embodies the belief that comfortable songs are the best.
