Hello. I heard there was a board event, so I was looking for a place to join, and since it was a dog board I liked, I signed up 🥰 It's even more welcoming because there are senior dogs 😆 This is Lucky, my 12-year-old Shih Tzu 😄 His follicular mange on his paw has worsened, so we've scheduled surgery 😭 It kept happening so often, and even if I removed one, two more would pop up elsewhere, so I had just accepted it.. After his recent grooming, it seemed like he kept licking it, and it turned into a mass? apparently 😱 The inflammation on the side also got severe, so we decided to have surgery.. I really regret not removing it when he was younger 😭 To other dog owners, please don't regret it like I did and remove any growths on areas they frequently lick, like their paws, in advance 😢 I'll make sure to remove any that appear on his feet, even if I leave them on his back 😭 Since he's a senior dog, I'm worried if he can go under anesthesia without any complications 😢 And I'm worried about after the anesthesia too.. Most cases are benign, but if it's malignant, they said they might have to amputate his toe~paw, so I'm really worried 😭 Please pray that the surgery is successful without any issues 😭 I came to introduce myself, but this turned into a really gloomy post 😅
