Flower

Someone said, "I wanted to be a flower." Is it that some people bloom and others don't? Whether it's based on others' standards or my own, if it's not defined, it probably comes from comparison. If there's no absolute standard, it's something vague and ambiguous. If I have a clear standard in my mind and others don't care, that would also be a satisfying life. But I've always wondered. Why can't a weed be a flower? Who decided that? The reason I see myself as a weed, not an elegant flower, is because I can grow even when stepped on, don't have vibrant colors, and can grow even without fertile soil. I am a weed. Ordinary, bent, but I inevitably rise up, and though I may not have anything unique, I eventually get things done. I can't be a flower, not because I wasn't born a flower, Some say a weed is just grass, not a flower. But now I know that doesn't matter anymore.
