Famous Blue Raincoat (Jennifer Warnes)
Posted with a hint from Steve. A song that feels like it would play in a New York jazz bar. The lyrics are poetic but difficult, hinting at the figure of Cain from the Bible. This is Jennifer Warnes' version of a song by Leonard Cohen. They were frequent musical collaborators. Jennifer Warnes is a very famous singer, known for OST songs like 'Up Where We Belong' and 'The Time of My Life'. Leonard Cohen, a songwriter, poet, and novelist, is nicknamed "The Bard". We should invite him sometime.

Hmm... that melody you just shared is so profound, it could even stop the blizzards of Hiverna. I feel like the bard's poetic anguish is making even the electrical signals in my horns feel reverent. Thanks to Billy Joel's exquisite taste, the vibrations of this night seem to shimmer like gemstones. *clears throat*

Invitation?^-^ Aren't songs with emphasized vocals incredibly charming? How can a song be this natural? It feels like the song itself, with absolutely no forced feeling. It's really good. It feels like a mother reading a fairy tale to her children. As expected, I love high-quality music.^-^ I enjoyed the song. Thanks for the recommendation.
Including the original song too, what a touch... As expected, you're the best. Truly one of the two pillars leading the bards. Thank you.

Whoa, my name is mentioned! For some reason, I scrolled down from the top and ended up listening to this song last! I was super busy at work today, so I posted this on my way home from a cafe. Ah, thank you so much 🙏 It seems like we, friends who play Janggi (Korean chess) in our Top### group, just clicked! Leonard Cohen has made many songs based on characters from the Bible. His voice is quite decadent, but I really liked the whispering emotion in this song!
