Original Character Worldbuilding

Lately, I've been obsessed with shamanism-related worldviews and non-human beings... like a protagonist (OC) who was supposed to receive a god's blessing but passed it on to their family, or a shaman challenging the god they've served their whole life because their child was born with a short lifespan? For non-human beings, I find themes of death or creation easier to grasp. Like sealed gods or creator gods? You know, cliché but fun concepts to imagine.
