Twin Folio Covered by J Rabbit (White Handkerchief, Wedding Cake)
Today, I'll talk about Twin Folio, who dominated the 70s. Twin Folio (Song Chang-sik and Yoon Hyung-joo), considered one of the greatest duos in Korean popular music history, are summarized as 'pioneers who led the popularization of Korean folk music' and 'the most perfect heavenly harmony'. While Yoon Hyung-joo's clear falsetto and Song Chang-sik's powerful voice sound completely different, they created the most beautiful harmony when the two met. The emergence of Twin Folio in the 1970s served as an opportunity to introduce folk music to the public, gaining explosive popularity in university circles and establishing acoustic guitars and folk music in the music scene. However, most of Twin Folio's representative songs were covers of foreign songs, leading to criticism that a team without original compositions couldn't be called pioneers of folk music. Their representative songs brought today, 'White Handkerchief' and 'Wedding Cake,' are also foreign covers. Since Song Chang-sik recorded these two songs with J Rabbit, I'll play those first. And I'll also upload the original Twin Folio versions! 😘

If you sing these songs badly, 4 minutes can be a torture for the listener, but this is a gift. It's amazing how it can be shared, empathized with, and harmonized across different generations, and so naturally... J Rabbit sings calmly and incredibly well. With just two guitars, The emotion is worth 365 million.^-^ I enjoyed listening. Thanks for the recommendation.
Leaving home... is this it??
