Steam Zenonia1 Short Review..

I used to play Zenonia1 a lot on my feature phone back in the day. After dinner tonight, I bought it and immediately jumped in. Since many indie games these days have pixel art, I'll overlook the graphics. If you only consider the pixel art, it's not bad. But having the attack button as A and the dodge button as B is a bit... Nowadays, the attack button is usually X and dodge is A. It might not seem like a big difference, but it changes how you hold the controller, making my hands uncomfortable. Even when moving with the joystick or D-pad, the response feels... a bit slow, I guess? You can't move while attacking, and even if you press the attack button and then the dodge button, you can't dodge... The controls are a mess. The screen is wide, but is that quest window size really the best it can be? It feels like a simple feature phone port that didn't pay much attention to UI/UX.. As for quests, it's like 'catch a few monsters' or 'bring me money' fetch quests, not even an MMORPG.. I wondered if this was the best Com2uS could do, and I ended up refunding it in less than 20 minutes.
