Old Love - Lee Moon-sae

Lee Moon-sae's **<Old Love>** is the title track from his 7th album released in 1991. It's a masterpiece of Korean ballads, harmonizing the late composer Lee Young-hoon's signature poetic yet sorrowful melody with Lee Moon-sae's deep and calm vocals. A Deeper Resonance Through Calmness: Instead of flashy techniques or excessive emotional outbursts, the vocals, sung in a calm, almost spoken-word style, heighten the wistful feeling of past love and memories. Poetic Lyrics and Narrative: The lyrics, imbued with an analog sensibility of looking back at old memories alone on a snowy winter night, leave a profound, poetic resonance. A Timeless Classic: Even after more than 30 years, the song continues to be remade by numerous junior artists, delivering emotion that transcends generations. This song depicts the loneliness that washes over one on a snowy night when memories and longing for a past love, thought to have faded with time, suddenly resurface. If you wish to feel the unique analog sentiment and deep lingering feeling of the entire lyrics, I recommend listening to it along with the full lyrics.
