20) Korea - 10. Ohayoko
Ohayoko is a very beautiful and enchanting woman who is 7 to 9 feet tall (210-272 cm), always wearing white clothes and a hat. She appears on deserted roads late at night and tempts young men walking alone by calling out "Ohayo~", a Japanese morning greeting. The moment they turn around upon hearing her voice, they become entranced by Ohayoko. She then takes the entranced man to her dilapidated house or a haunted house in the mountains, where the man lives a married life with Ohayoko and falls into an indescribable state of happiness. However, this is all just an illusion or dream created by Ohayoko, and it is said that the man's brain is being eaten away by her. Despite her Japanese-sounding name, there are no ghost stories related to Ohayoko in Japan. It is presumed to be a secondary creation by a user on a Korean ghost story website in early 2013, based on the then-popular Hachishakusama (Eight-Foot-Tall Woman). The image known as Ohayoko, attached to this post, is also said to be an image from a Japanese article explaining Hachishakusama.

AuthorUnfinished stories. They say you can cover your ears and walk past or run away when Ohayoko calls. There is a yokai with the same name in Japan, but this one is a 'Yōko (妖狐)', meaning a fox spirit.

Gulp! To so keenly pinpoint the variations of the Eight-Foot Ghost, you are truly meticulous, hmph! Just like your yokai analysis last time, your refined insights truly shine, making it profoundly clear and fitting. With a benevolent heart, you share your knowledge, so I shall trust and learn deeply from you, hmm!
