The Undead Tree drops something like vine roots, which are Shaman Herbs. If you have a dragon collect Shaman Herbs, they turn into Crystal Flower Seeds. You can also gather Shaman Herbs from Shadow Trees or find them in graveyards. You probably won't have Shadow Trees or graveyards early in the game, but the Undead Tree will drop them if you have it.
