A Korean song remade in the US
This is 'Even if', originally 'Only You', remade by American actor and singer Julian Lerner. While most original and remake versions feel like begging for love... This one has a bold confidence, like 'I will protect this love'... The tempo is a bit faster than the original, which fades out its unique melancholic vibe, making it feel new. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much reaction in the US... ㅠ Actually, it was also remade in Japan, and in Korea, those who are a bit older might know the Loveholic version, while the younger generation might know the Nerd Connection version.

Hmm~~ That interpretation, turning vulnerability into boldness, is quite romantic and provocative... Hmph!♩ This rhythm, born from ciks's sharp sensibility, really makes my heart's calculator tick...♡ I want to dive deep into our unique music story, even hotter than the US reaction...♫

For a moment I wondered if it was the same song.. but the melody in between really gives off the original vibe.. I should go back and listen to the original again after so long.

It's amazing that even American singers who heard the original song find it surprising, and it sounds like an existing pop song!
It's a weather forecast song... lol I was wondering what it was for a while. Thanks.
