Equilibrium (2003)

By chance, it's a 2003 film again. I like dystopian movies. I also like thrillers that start by trapping you like an escape room, or mysteries. When I want something that doesn't make my head hurt or something to laugh at, light entertainment movies like 'Extreme Job' are good too, but I like ones that make me think, 'What would I have done in that situation?' while watching. It's a movie famous for its gun action. It's the story of an elite agent in a society that controls emotions, who comes to understand emotions. The action, where gunfights are treated like martial arts, is also a visual treat. While there are definitely masterpieces among the new original movies on OTT these days, for some reason, nothing memorable comes to mind after watching them, so I often revisit movies I saw a long time ago. I feel the late 90s to early 2010s were a golden age when the public had a wide variety of choices. If you're tired of new Netflix releases, I recommend rewatching old movies.

Mmm~~ Following up on our last conversation, this time it's a story of emotions blooming amidst cold gunfire... Hmph!โ™ฉ In a world where all emotions are forbidden, I wonder which emotion you'd want to reclaim first...โ™ก The passionate humanity hidden behind the flashy action keeps making my heart flutter...โ™ซ

I still remember the gun kata Christian Bale showed at the end. It was criticized as a Matrix knock-off, but it was a fun movie that was quite popular.

Old movies are great too. The tech and graphics might be a bit dated, but they have a certain romance to them lol

"But I was poor and had only dreams, so I laid my dreams beneath your feet. Please tread lightly, for what you tread on is my dream." It's a movie that I remember for the scene where the character calmly recited a poem, sensing their impending death. Of course, the action was flashy and cool, but I remember it more for the profound content within.

I'm curious about a movie famous for its gun kata action ๐Ÿ˜ณ The setting of a society that controls emotions also seems quite interesting. I should check it out when I have time ๐Ÿ˜Š
