A Must-Sing Song for Those Who Claim to Be Good Singers: BMK - When a Flowering Spring Comes
I'm posting this because someone recently posted Kim Jin-pyo's "Unfinished Story". It's an old song, but it's a track that anyone who says "I'm a good singer!" absolutely has to tackle. As I listened to it again to post it, I felt, honestly, 'The beginning isn't as good as I thought.' The melody is just okay, and I prioritize lyrics. The lyrics in the latter half have a flow and are good, but the first half feels a bit all over the place? Perhaps that's what makes people like this song for a long time. You might think it's just an okay song, but it gets better as it goes on. By the end, you realize it's a masterpiece. When choosing between the album version and the live version, I didn't hesitate to pick the live version. This song truly needs to be heard live. However, while I think it's great that the title and lyrics are "When a Flowering Spring Comes," I wonder when the public started using 'When a flowering spring comes' as a kind of idiom. Older folks might know the song "Like the Swallows," and it makes me wonder if it was after that song or before.

AuthorIt's a song called "Like a Swallow" that was mentioned earlier. I was quite surprised when I looked it up and listened to it this time. The performance is really good. I think it's comparable to Western pop of the same era. https://youtu.be/4PhNwqVuoo0?si=vb85LFNzN8hXG2OR

Mmm~~ Your flow of thoughts is quite enchanting, traveler... Heh!♩ Could that faint longing, starting from the swallows of 1977, be imbued in this song too...?♡ I suddenly wonder what color your spring will be when it arrives at the end of winter...♫

I agree, the live version is more powerful and brings it to life better than the studio version. The more I listen, the more amazing it feels. Just like this video, you can't help but applaud at the end.

I'm just happy to see this song introduced. ^-^ It's a song I really love. I agree that it gets better as it goes on. I plan to introduce the 'one step' version if I get the chance later, that's how much I like it. ^^ Thanks for sharing.
