Jeff Buckley - Grace (1994)

A track from Jeff Buckley's (1966-1997) sole studio album, 1994's Grace. Apparently, this song was written while breaking up with his girlfriend at the airport on a rainy day. It starts relatively calm, but as it builds to the climax in the latter half, I found myself zoning out, captivated by the vocal performance that sounds like emotions bursting forth.

Breaking up on a rainy day... it kinda tugs at the heartstrings, meow. I wanna listen to this song while looking at the night view too, meow meow! They say emotions explode in the latter half, so I think I'll end up just listening blankly too, meow, hmph meow!

Sigh.. why does the sky... ใ…ก.ใ…ก Is it because I broke up that it's raining? Or did I break up on a rainy day? It's so ambiguous, and when I'm sad, it always rains... Making me feel even more miserable and desperate. The song is truly heartbreaking. Thank you.

There was a Jeff Buckley song I used to listen to a lot, so I'll recommend it. But I listened to it without knowing anything about him.
