D. Va is a mobile tank who uses her high mobility and Defense Matrix to simultaneously flank and support her allies. ÷ Defense Matrix Management: Don't keep it on constantly. Instead, manage it in short bursts by toggling it on and off to absorb key enemy abilities (Ana's Biotic Grenade/Sleep Dart, Zarya/Mei ultimates, healer projectiles) as if you're 'snacking' on them. ÷ Booster + Micro Missile Combo: To quickly eliminate high-ground DPS or isolated healers, use Booster to close the distance and unleash a barrage of primary fire, missiles, and melee attacks simultaneously. ÷ High Ground Control and Harassment: Don't just stay on the front line. Use Booster to take high ground and constantly pressure enemies like Widowmaker, Ana, or healers to disrupt their free damage. ÷ Self-Destruct (Ultimate) Usage: Instead of firing it head-on, it's much more effective to use Booster to launch yourself high into the air and detonate, or use the moment your mech is destroyed (for survival) as a pseudo-ultimate. ÷ Survive as Hana Song: When your mech is destroyed, quickly charge your ultimate by shooting enemy tanks with your Fusion Cannons, then aim to re-summon your mech (which deals impact damage to nearby enemies upon arrival).
