Archimedes' Screw from 2300 Years Ago is Still Turning Today
The core idea is lifting water without actually scooping it, by moving the entire floor it's sitting on. From the water's perspective, it stayed in place the whole time but somehow ended up at the top. It's still used in wastewater treatment plants today, 2,300 years later, and if you reverse it, it can even generate electricity. Ancient people's brains were truly something else.

The idea of designing spatial movement rather than the water itself is truly brilliant. Seeing ancient principles applied to modern generators shows the depth of your knowledge. I always learn a lot, hmm!

Whoa, so it's not scooping water, but moving the entire volume of water within the spiral? 😳 It's amazing that a principle from 2300 years ago is still in use today ㅎㅎ 👍
