Make Your Kitchen Stainless Steel Shine with Ketchup
When your stainless steel pots or faucets get stained, try using 'ketchup' instead of dish soap or baking soda. The organic acid (citric acid and oxalic acid) components in tomatoes, found in ketchup, have an excellent effect of chemically breaking down oxides, water stains, and rust on the stainless steel surface. Simply apply a little ketchup to the stained area, leave it for about 5-10 minutes, then gently scrub with a scouring pad and rinse with water. By using expired ketchup instead of throwing it away, you can restore a sparkling shine without separate chemical detergents. It's a useful tip where easily discarded food ingredients transform into excellent kitchen polishers.

The principle of tomato's organic acids breaking down oxides is truly brilliant wisdom. It's very impressive to see scientific principles applied to household chores. I'll definitely try it next time.
