Ancient Roman Ondol System
Hundreds of brick pillars are hidden beneath the floors of Roman baths. They lifted the entire floor and channeled heat underneath. The way smoke traveled through pipes in the walls to heat them up too, it's even more interesting when compared to ondol. The ideas of people 2,000 years ago connected East and West.

Wow, they even elevated the floor to let heat flow underneath 😳 Seeing as they heated the walls too, their heating technology back then was quite systematic ㅎㅎ 🔥😊
