The Play <Iolaos>

The play <Iolaos> is a work that deals with the final battle of the 'Sacred Band,' the strongest army composed of lovers, set in ancient Greece in the 4th century BC. It received great acclaim for its profound depiction of the noble meaning of love and sacrifice through the intertwined destinies of three men: Melas, the general of the Sacred Band, Agathon, the commander-in-chief, and Piron. The play was performed from June 21st to September 6th at Yes24 ArtOne Hall 3, with actors Moon Sung-il, Kim Jae-han, and Kim Jun-sik (playing Melas), Kim Seo-hwan, Jeong Seo-an, and Shin Soo-bin (playing Agathon), and Choi Yu-hyeon, Jeong Tae-young, and Yoon Yeo-baek (playing Piron) delivering passionate performances. It was a well-made play that recently concluded successfully amidst the audience's fervent support and sold-out shows, though it is sadly missed.
