Human Body Practice, Let's Go!

It's so sloppy ㅠㅠ Honestly, I shouldn't doodle on my school desk, but my teacher said it's fine as long as I erase it, so I drew it haha. The left is the male figure I drew, and the right is the female figure, but honestly, I like the female figure a bit more. They say if you want to draw the human body well, you should do more than 10 croquis a day or draw for over an hour to improve your skills, so I tried that. But my skills didn't improve at all; instead of being a mama's boy who can't draw, I became a photo girl, and it had the opposite effect of making drawing boring for me. So, I usually draw the human body or poses I can draw by looking in the mirror at that moment, or I ask my younger sibling to pose for me. I also ask my friend to draw clothes folds for me haha, or I draw them myself by looking in the mirror whenever needed! How did everyone study the human body and clothes folds?

I'm watching tutorials on the human body, but I haven't learned about clothing folds yet...

I think it's important to just draw a lot and understand the rules, you know? It feels like you gain that understanding as you accumulate data by doing croquis! I personally searched for croquis on Pinterest a lot!

I learned by watching timelapses of other talented artists, observing how they draw lines and sketch rough drafts, etc. ㅎㅎ As for croquis... I don't do it lol.. I should though.

I used to doodle a lot on my desk when I was young too~~ haha Men can be seen as straight lines, firm, intense, and even when flexible, they feel solid. Women can be seen with curves, flexibility, softness, and fullness. Fullness here isn't about wide hips or being plump, but about the sense of the line. You can express femininity and masculinity just by drawing lines well. Drawing is also an extension of learning... it's mathematical. Knowing anatomy is good, and it doesn't take long to learn by observing and drawing. It might look impressive, but you really need to study and understand a lot. The flow of gravity, understanding light, understanding color – it's all studying. Nowadays, there are many helpful videos on YouTube ㅎㅎ I only do it as a hobby, so I've mostly copied what I saw and drew~

I gave up! (?) haha... I'm drawing it so it doesn't look too awkward while matching the art style.... But I do want to study anatomy someday.
