Remove Bathroom Water Stains with Potato Peels
The white water stains that form on bathroom mirrors or cabinets are alkaline limescale. Instead of harsh chemical cleaners, try using leftover 'potato peels' from cooking. The starch in potatoes not only has a strong ability to absorb dirt but also, its mild acidity effectively neutralizes and breaks down the alkaline water stains on the mirror surface. Simply rub the mirror or faucet with the inner side of the potato peel and rinse with water for a clean finish. Additionally, the starch in potatoes forms a thin coating on the surface, preventing fogging for a while after cleaning. It's a smart way to solve cleaning and anti-fogging issues simultaneously with discarded food waste.
