4. 4th Place After Eating Rotten Apples and Sleeping: Cuban postman Félix Carvajal raised money for the Olympics by begging, but lost it all gambling and barely arrived in civilian clothes. During the race, he was so hungry he snatched an apple from a spectator and later ate rotten apples from an orchard, which gave him severe food poisoning, causing him to sleep by the roadside for a long time. Despite this, he woke up, ran again, and secured 4th place. -To be continued-
