Minecraft Building Tips

1. Campfires can be put out with a shovel. 2. Glowstone or lanterns are prettier than torches and fit well with buildings. 3. Oak wood doesn't go well with stone bricks. 4. Darker woods surprisingly match well with black blocks. 5. In Minecraft, oak trapdoors are rarely used in building. 6. Wood leaves with flowers on them are prettier than regular leaves. (Sorry, I don't know the name of the leaves with flowers)
