A Song Like Poetry? It's Real Poetry! Lee Dong-won, Park In-soo - "Nostalgia"

I was looking for a YouTube link and found one with the best audio quality, but I really don't like the visuals. Please just listen to the music. This is "Nostalgia," a song made by setting poet Jeong Ji-yong's poem to music. It's not a song for old people. Knowing this song can help with your studies and earn you praise from teachers. Is it a cure-all song? Poet Jeong Ji-yong, who passed away, is considered a pioneer of modern Korean poetry who did not collaborate with the Japanese during the colonial period. Although he was classified as pro-North during the military regime, research has confirmed this to be untrue, which is now the accepted theory. Baritone Park In-soo, who sang this song with him, was recognized for his talent, even serving as a professor at Seoul National University. However, he was criticized for "insulting classical music" by singing this song. While unimaginable today, classical music was looked down upon back then. I believe he was ahead of his time, free from prejudice. Considering that hyangga and akjang, which we learn as literature, and Western classical literature like the Iliad and Odyssey were all considered music in their time, perhaps poetry and music are the same thing.
