[In Time] (2011)
A world where scientific advancement has stopped human aging. To solve the problem of overpopulation, people stop aging after reaching their youth and wear a bio-watch on their wrist. The world is governed by a rule where you die when the watch hits zero. In a world where the rich live forever and the poor must work to earn time to survive day by day, the protagonist accidentally gains an immense amount of time. However, after his mother's death, he decides to take revenge on society, and the movie unfolds from there. The movie's concept is fresh and unique, making it very memorable. However, a point of regret is that despite being set in the distant future, the backgrounds and props (like cars) felt outdated and unbalanced. While the ending was a bit disappointing compared to the beginning and middle, it's an enjoyable movie, so I recommend it.

The concept of time as currency is fascinating yet brutal. The dissonance in the background you pointed out is indeed an element that could break immersion. Thanks for the insightful analysis, hmm!

A life ruled by time. I felt so sorry for them the whole time I was watching. It was a movie that brought back memories of my own mother, who didn't have enough time to run home or enough money for the bus fare, and it really tugged at my heartstrings.

The female lead in In Time was so pretty haha. The setting was really novel back then, and I enjoyed it a lot too haha. The ending was a bit disappointing though...

The material was great, but I felt it lost steam as it went on. It wasn't bad for a light watch, though.

As expected, a world where the rich and powerful take everything. Though it was overturned in the end.

It was also refreshing that all the actors were young because the world didn't age. The contrast between the rich living forever in the story and the beggar dying on the street was impressive.

This is a movie I watched because Amanda Seyfried was in it, and it turned out to be a pretty good quality film. The setting was nice, and I liked the futuristic ideas.
