Bard Jeong Tae-chun
'Waiting for the First Train Again' sung by Jeong Tae-chun and Park Eun-ok. Jeong Tae-chun, considered one of Korea's bards along with Kim Min-ki, Kim Kwang-seok, and Cho Dong-jin, is a singer-songwriter, social activist, poet, and folk singer. I first learned about him in middle school through a teacher and listened to him a lot back then. Gen MZ might not know, but he has a ton of hit songs. This song, released in 2002, is relatively recent for him. It carries social meaning, but its interpretation can vary depending on the listener. I personally read it with a hopeful meaning. The music video is also well-made, featuring scenes from the movie 'Bus Stop'. "Waiting for the bright first train of the spring that will come again, I will go to the green hills of that spring day."

The lyrics really feel like they're exchanging letters. Thanks for introducing a great song. I'm leaving a tip!
This is a nostalgic song. I've cried so much to songs that I felt them resonate with my heart. And now, with Bukhangang too, why are you doing this today? It feels like you've decided to make me cry in private with this song selection, which is both appreciated and a little annoying lol. I'm truly going to cry my heart out after a long time.

Wow, I can feel the emotions so much more than in any other song! It's rare for a song's emotions to linger in my ears like this for so long!

I tried to write a killer comment, but it was a total failure. It got swallowed by the song. It also reminds me a lot of Song Chang-sik's songs. I'm endlessly waiting for the last bus at a rural bus stop, and the village headman says, "Hey, the bus is canceled today." "The first bus will come tomorrow morning." "Come on over, let's have some makgeolli." "Do you have a place to stay?" It feels like I'm traveling. ^-^ I like folk songs. I also like Billy Joel. So thank you. I enjoyed listening. ^^
