1. Kkeo vs. Geo

Do you know when Koreans look the most ignorant? It's not when they don't know common sense. It's when they can't use Korean spelling and spacing correctly. From now on, I will kindly teach you one by one. 1. Kkeo vs. Geo To get straight to the point, 'kkeo' is not a word. 'Geo' is a colloquial expression of 'geot' (thing/fact) and is an independent noun. Therefore, all words that can be replaced by 'geot' are spaced out. Ex) meogeul geo (something to eat), utneun geo (something to laugh at), eonni geo (older sister's thing), haeroun geo (harmful thing), etc. 2. Usage of 'Geot' 1) Ge This is a variation of 'geo-ida'. The usage is the same as above. Ex) meogeul ge issda (There's something to eat) 2) Geol This is a contraction of 'geos-eul'. The usage is the same as above. Ex) hago sipeun geol haera (Do what you want to do) 3) Exceptions for 'Ge' and 'Geol' -lge / When indicating a promise or intention Ex) dasi yeollakalge (I'll contact you again) -lgeol / When the speaker's guess differs from the listener's, or to express regret or disappointment Ex) neoboda kiga keugeol (You're probably taller than me), miri sadueolgeol (I should have bought it in advance) 3. Conclusion 'Kkeo' does not exist. Things that can be replaced by 'geot' are spaced out. Otherwise, they are attached as a sentence-ending suffix.
