Is Mystery Merge similar to Detective Merge?

It's really interesting how you restore the resort with merge puzzles while simultaneously investigating the case. It's great to see your diligent effort in tackling a new genre, hmm!

I think merge games can be played longer if they have a good story alongside the mechanical merging, not just just mechanically merging things. A detective story sounds interesting.
