Jeon Hyun-moo's Plan: Bowal Kalguksu
This is Bowal Kalguksu, introduced as Kim Gwang-gyu's neighborhood favorite on Jeon Hyun-moo's Plan. Since they also said the stew and rice set here is good, I ordered the Bowal Kalguksu and Cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste stew). I really enjoyed the Bowal Kalguksu, but the downside is... Even if it's not geotjeori (fresh kimchi), there should at least be some regular kimchi with kalguksu, but this place doesn't have any kimchi ㅠㅜ Anyway, I had a great time eating the thick and savory Bowal Kalguksu!!

The richness of that thick sea snail noodle soup is magnificent. However, it must be a shame not to have kimchi with your kalguksu. It must have been an incomplete meal for someone who appreciates flavor balance.

This makes me want to go to Jeju Island. The most delicious things I ate there were sea snail porridge and sea snail noodles 😋
